The whole keyboard, one pair of keys at a time
26 lessons in 3 units. Each adds a little to the last, each is passed on accuracy rather than speed, and nothing unlocks early. This is the whole of it, in the order a pupil meets it.

How scoring works
A lesson is 5 short passages. A pupil passes a part by typing it at the lesson's accuracy mark, and passes the lesson when every part is passed. Only then does the next lesson unlock. The mark rises with the course: 85%, 88% and 90%.
Accuracy counts every wrong key, whether or not it was corrected. Backspace hides a mistake from the passage, not from the score, so what is rewarded is typing it right first time.
Speed is shown, always, and decides nothing. Stars come from accuracy alone: two at 90%, three at 97%.
Before each unit, and once a month, a one-minute test on a plain passage gives the progress chart a reading that is comparable from one month to the next.
An attempt the checker cannot trust is saved for the teacher to look at, and counts for nothing until they do.
The Welsh course
Welsh is its own course, not this one translated: the same home row and the same marks, then a unit on the to bach that the English course has no need of, and Welsh words and sentences throughout.
